Jornada meets Mondays, 7pm in Kiernan Hall.

JORNADA YOUTH GROUP SHINES!
On Thanksgiving Day, the St. Andrew Jornada youth group had an opportunity to do some service work. Through a friend and founder of the group “Dare2Be” and chef, Thalia Patillo from the Food Network, we were able to work as volunteers to serve meals to the homeless and the less fortunate. It was a very “real” look at the realities that we often overlook and take for granted. We arrived at St. John the Baptist Church where we helped to set up tables and chairs before the meals. It was a lot of work, but all in attendance were all eager to help in all ways that were needed. Among the people present to help was: Sharon Valle, Jazmin Gil, Melissa Ramos, Delfina Izazaya, Bruce Chen, Angelica Chumbi, Ashley Onofre, Joel Rivera, Kim Torres. Ashley Cortes, Edward Cortes. From our confirmation class were Jacqueline Flores, Gisselle Rivera, and Odalis Vega. and adult group leader Eddie Cortes.
