Help Wanted for Equal Exchange Interfaith Coffee Program

Supporting fair wages and fair trade—One cup of coffee at a time.

In May 2004, St. Andrew’s joined Equal Exchange’s Interfaith Coffee Program, offering organic, gourmet coffee, tea, cocoa, and chocolate to its parishioners. Over 13,000 places of worship and faith-based organizations across the United States participate in this program.

Equal Exchange works overseas providing assistance to struggling low-income farmers. Here in the United States, Equal Exchange supports those farmers by promoting Fair Trade—an alternative system of international trade that is rooted in the principles of human dignity, economic justice, and global solidarity.

St. Andrew introduces the Care for Creation Ministry.

During the Season of Creation, we celebrate the marvelous universe that God has created; we convert our ways of thinking and living to place ourselves more in harmony with all of God’s creatures; and we commit ourselves to taking actions to care for our common home, the Earth.
