Proposed Mass Schedule Change

We are proposing some changes to our Mass schedule.

The first is to drop the 5 PM Saturday Mass for three months, June, July and August.
Father Greg asks this because in order to take a vacation, he must find a substitute priest and it is much harder to find one who will do all four Masses. This would begin in June 2021.

The second change would be to have only two Masses on Sunday, at 10 and 12 instead of the three current Masses, starting in September 2021. This request actually comes down from the diocese.

Fr. Greg will be retiring in about two years. Whether he is replaced with a pastor or an administrator, it will be necessary at that time to reduce the number of Masses and the Bishop prefers that this change be done under Fr. Greg, which makes sense. However, Fr. Greg is very concerned that such changes might mean that some parishioners would leave our wonderful church and so he has asked the Council to put this question to a vote.

Please let us know how you feel about these changes either online by clicking HERE or by dropping off your ballot in the box placed in the Gathering Space or cut it out and put it in collection or mail to Parish House.

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.I embrace you as if you were already there
And unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you.
